Are you experienced or confident in teaching basic Maths, English and Science lessons 1:1 and/ or in small groups?

This school is looking for an enthuseed academic mentor to assist KS3-4 students in Maths, English and Science catch up lessons. The successful candidate will have experience within a 1:1 or small group classroom setting. The successful academic tutor must be pro-active and confident in delivering functional skills. The successful candidate will also be expected to have good behavioural management skills and be able to develop of the students with the resources provided. After school private study lessons will be necessary to ensure this.

This mixed secondary school, and sixth form provides a fantastic opportunity for confident support staff such as a teaching assistants or mentors to progress within their field to a academic mentor gaining experience teaching keen students.
