This SEN school located in Redhill is looking for a passionate teaching assistant for small groups and one to one teaching for pupils aged 2-6. The teaching assistant will also be assisting the class teacher with all responsibilities and activities in class.

The ideal teaching assistant will support the welfare of pupils and follow the schools safeguarding policies to ensure safety and comfortability around the school. The teaching assistant will be a multi-talented professional who has a very committed approach to education helping students grow and develop to help prepare for adult life.

The ideal teaching assistant will support the Class Teacher in all areas of the day to day running of the class and promote pupils’ cognitive, social, emotional, behavioural, physical development and spiritual well-being as all students have difficulties with communication and social interaction, typically associated with Autism. The teaching assistant will also create a warm and supportive relationship with pupils to make them feel safe and enable them to enjoy and learn during their time at the school.
