We are recruiting for an enthusiastic Learning Mentor to join a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in the Lewisham area. The position will include supporting and mentoring students who are disengaged with their education and need extra care to develop their learning.
The school caters for secondary age pupils and delivers an education across Key Stage 3 and 4. This school provides an education to young people who are disengaged with their education and many with SEMH.
The successful Learning Mentor will need to have a flexible approach to providing an accessible and truly inclusive education that meets the complex needs of the students. As a Learning Mentor will play a proactive role in positive behaviour management as well as encouraging learners to engage with lessons and activities.
