motivated Speech and Language Therapist wanting to work with SEN children and
make a real impact in their development.
An outstanding specialist school for autistic children based
in the Ealing borough are looking for a Speech and Language Therapist to work
with their students from ages 4 to 22 all with a diagnosis of Autism. This
Autistic specialist school’s ethos is to change attitudes by improving public
understanding of autism and the difficulties many autistic people face. Autistic people turn to this school at key
moments or challenging times in their lives, be it getting a diagnosis, going
to school or finding work so the Speech and Language Therapist will follow the school’s
ethos and contribute to their development.
The Speech and Language Therapist will be responsible for assessment,
development and implementation of specialist Speech and Language Therapy
provision, to a caseload of pupils who have a diagnosis of AS. Working as a
team with the trans-disciplinary team (TDT), the Speech and Language Therapist will
write reports, programmes and communication profiles reflecting specialist
knowledge for annual reviews and parent/guardian meetings.
