A great opportunity to join a large independent specialist school in Croydon for young people aged 5 to 19 years. The school meets the requirements of pupils with an array of needs including Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) requirements, speech, language, and communication difficulties as well as autism.

The school has an opening for a Teaching Assistant, on a full-time basis. This will require working closely with students on a one-to-one basis and in small groups to best manage their behaviour and academic progress. This role would ideally require some prior experience in dealing with behavioural problems. The position will be Monday to Friday during school term time and this specialist independent school offers unrivalled opportunities. These include a tailored induction, training and professional development programme and an employee assistance programme.

Through education, the school enables young people to gain resilience and the skills needed to thrive beyond education. The school’s attitude in helping young people believe in themselves is extremely rewarding, knowing that they have the confidence to be themselves and celebrate their uniqueness, inspiring the brightest possible future.
