We are looking for a Teaching Assistant to work within a
secondary SEMH school in Greenwich. The role would suit an engaging, innovative
and adaptable individual, who is able to provide a supportive and nurturing approach
to education.
The ideal SEMH Teaching Assistant will share the belief
that every student deserves the chance to become the best version of themselves
and succeed academically. The successful SEMH Teaching Assistant will help
provide a therapeutic approach to learning and recognise the student’s
individual needs.
Students often display challenging behaviour and come
from difficult circumstances which can make progression in a mainstream school
hard. This school strives to create a compassionate and supporting environment
for its pupils where they can re-learn about themselves and their capability.
