We are currently seeking a SEND Teacher to join a therapeutic
school who put all their students’ needs first. As a SEND Teacher, you will be
helping students daily with their academic, behavioural, therapeutic, and vocational needs.
The successful SEND Teacher will be delivering an essential
education to students with SEND and SEMH. The role will involve teaching small
groups of Key Stage 3 students, who in many cases will be working to a Key
Stage 2 level. The ideal SEND Teacher will strive to improve school-wide
efforts to enhance literacy abilities and actively collaborate with teachers in
all other departments to promote their learning.
The school works hard to promote independence and self-worth
and insists on the highest standards of behaviour, attitude to learning and
respect for one another and the environment. They hold high expectations of
every pupil, and believe that care, inclusion, discipline, clear structure, and
routine create the foundation for success in life.
