We are recruiting for an enthusiastic Learning Mentor to join
an SEMH school in the Croydon area. The position will include supporting and
mentoring students who are disengaged with their education and need extra care
to develop their learning.
This school provides an education to students with SEND and
SEMH and caters for students from Key Stage 2 to Key Stage 4. The school aims to
ensure that vulnerable children stay within an educational setting and have an
excellent team of staff that deliver a tailored and vibrant curriculum to the
young people.
The successful candidate will need to have a flexible approach to providing an accessible
and truly inclusive education that meets the complex needs of the students. You
will play a proactive role in positive behaviour management as well as encouraging
learners to engage with lessons and activities.
