A brand new SEN school will be opening in the Croydon borough in September and are seeking a SEN Teacher to join their team on a full time and permanent basis. This role is for a September start and the Successful SEN Teacher will be expected to plan, prepare and deliver lessons to students with learning difficulties and SEMH needs. The Ideal SEN Teacher should have prior experience in a similar role to ensure the students are able to learn to the best of their abilities. The school is in search of a SEN Teacher that has the ability educate students of different abilities as well as manging student behaviour with the support of Teaching Assistants during lessons to ensure students are getting the best support possible.

Students at the school will range from ages 5-18 and classrooms will contain 4 – 8 students. Students will be provided a balance of educational and vocational instruction while learning communication strategies, integrating speech and occupational therapy methods and engaging in community immersion via volunteer activities, service-learning projects, and community outings. This school will provide a balanced curriculum to ensure that all students receive a high quality and appropriate education and move seamlessly to the next stage of their education.
