This SEN school located in the heart of Caterham are in search of a passionate Higher
Level Teaching Assistant to work with small groups of SEN students and on a one-to-one
basis. The Successful Higher Level Teaching Assistant will support students
aged 11-16. You will also be expected to deliver lessons in the teachers’ absence.
The ideal Higher Level Teaching Assistant will support the welfare of pupils
and follow the schools safeguarding policies to ensure safety and
comfortability around the school. The ideal Higher Level Teaching Assistant
will be a multi-talented professional who has a very committed approach to
education helping students grow and develop to help prepare for adult life.
As a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant you will be required to promote students’
cognitive, social, emotional, behavioural, physical development and spiritual
well-being. The school is seeking a candidate that can form a warm and
supportive relationship with students to make them feel safe and enable them to
enjoy and learn during their time at the school.
