A warm and welcoming school located in Coulsdon are
looking for an experienced and dedicated Teaching Assistant to work with
students aged 11-19 years with Educational, Health and Care Plan. Their needs
range from Autistic Spectrum Condition and ADHD to other cognition needs and
learning difficulties, therefore the Teaching Assistant chosen for this role
will need prior experience working with SEN.
The successful Teaching Assistant will be responsible for
engaging with students, participating in students’ behaviour programmes and
being aware of students with IEP’s. The Teaching Assistant picked for this role
will be working with students 1:1 or in small groups, supporting them with
their English and Maths. Establishing good relationships with students, being
aware and responding appropriately to individual needs and supporting the class
teacher manage class behaviour are key duties of a Teaching Assistant.
