This well-resourced and highly supportive school in Surrey is looking for an engaging, kind natured Teaching Assistant. The Teaching Assistant will be responsible for working with SEN students who all have a Autism diagnosis and other SEN including ADHD. The position is to start as soon as possible and is full-time and permanent.

The Teaching Assistant’s responsibilities will include working with special needs children 1:1 or in small groups, in order to spotlight the individuality of each student; assist other staff with day-to-day activities; support the students on a behavioural, emotional and personal level; correspond with specialists from external agencies; and lastly, engage in meetings with parents and other members of staff.

We are looking for a professional and engaging Teaching Assistant, ideally with some prior experience supporting special needs children. A passionate person with the ability to meet the aims and core values of the school and leadership team. The successful Teaching Assistant should be able to meet the high expectations of an outstanding school with an excellent Ofsted report. Lastly the ideal Teaching Assistant will follow the ideals of the school with a focus on the individuality, self-confidence, and incorporation of all students.
