We are looking for an enthusiastic and engaging Teaching Assistant who has BSL
Level 2 or 3, to join a school in The Royal London Borough of Greenwich. The
role will include supporting students with their learning, as well as coaching
students who are disengaged with their education and need extra care to develop
their learning.
The school caters for students from ages 11 - 18 but the role would suit a
Teaching Assistant that has prior experience working within either primary or
secondary education. As a Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for
supporting students with various needs including hearing, speech and language
and communication needs and therefore it is essential to hold BSL Level 2 or
Level 3. The school follows a student-centred approach to communication and the
education is tailored to the needs of its students.
The successful Teaching Assistant will need to have a flexible approach to
providing an accessible and truly inclusive education that meets the complex
needs of each student.
If you are an experienced Teaching Assistant and have BSL level 2 or 3, please do
get in touch.
