The ideal Teaching Assistant will have previous SEN experience and be able to
adapt to the individual needs of each student. As a Teaching Assistant you will
be expected to have SEN knowledge and a background working in similar
environments in order to have the right approach with these students. This vacancy is full time from Monday to
Friday during school term time only and you will be working with ASD students
in KS 2, 3 & 4. This Teaching Assistant position is a long-term vacancy and you will have the opportunity of
becoming a permanent member of staff.
The goal of the school is to help all students become successful learners,
positive individuals and responsible people. Providing a supportive and
nurturing environment for students, following a bespoke curriculum which will
take account of individual learning needs. The successful Teaching Assistant
will be supported by close work with a range of professionals including speech
and language therapists, occupational therapists, CAMHS, mentors and
educational psychologists.
