We are looking for an enthusiastic and engaging SEN Teaching
Assistant to join an SEN school in the South West London area. The role will
include supporting students with their learning, as well as coaching students who
are disengaged with their education and need extra care to develop their
learning. This SEN school caters for students from ages 10 - 19 but the role would
suit an SEN Teaching Assistant that has prior experience working within either
primary or secondary education.
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for
supporting students with various needs including speech and language, D/deaf,
ASD and those with emotional and behavioural difficulties. The school follows a
student-centred approach to communication and the education is tailored to the
needs of its students.
The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will need to have a
flexible approach to providing an accessible and truly inclusive education that
meets the complex needs of each student.
