*** Permanent Position

We are recruiting for a Food Technology Teacher to join a growing SEMH school in South East London. The position will include delivering NCFE Level 1 and Level 2 Food and Cookery and would suit either an experienced and qualified Food Technology Teacher or someone with experience delivering NCFE Level 1 and 2 or a similar course.

This school is a unique provision following a therapeutic humanistic approach to education and childhood development. The school aims to ensure that vulnerable children stay within an educational setting or return from home education before returning to mainstream or specialist provision as quickly as possible.

The right candidate will be able to embrace the ethos that the school has created. You will be able to teach lessons by incorporating innovative and creative ideas to suit the needs of the pupils. The well-being and academic achievement of most young people is significantly accelerated by addressing the root causes of behavioural, emotional, social difficulties, and without a focus on these areas some young people simply cannot access education.
