An opportunity for a PE Teacher to join a brand new SEN school has arisen, the school will be opening its doors to students in September and they are seeking an experienced PE Teacher that can plan, prepare and deliver lessons to SEN students with learning difficulties and SEMH needs. The successful PE Teacher will need to plan and deliver engaging lessons that allow the students to participate and learn. The ideal PE Teacher should have prior experience in a similar role in order to have a smooth transition into the role and will be joining a committed team on a full time and permanent contract.

Students at the school will range from ages 5-18 and classrooms contain 4 – 8 students and  you will be expected to deliver lessons to students of different abilities. Students will be provided a balance of educational and vocational instruction while learning communication strategies, integrating speech and occupational therapy methods and engaging in community entanglement through volunteer activities, service-learning projects, and community outings. This school will provide a balanced curriculum to ensure that all students receive a high quality and appropriate education and move seamlessly to the next stage of their education.
