This is an excellent opportunity for a SEND Teacher to join a SEN school that
put the needs of their students first. The SEND Teacher will be working with
students aged 3 – 11 years with Autistic Spectrum Disorder/Social, Emotional
and Mental Health needs.
The ideal candidate will
have firm understanding and implementation of teaching and learning strategies for
pupils with special needs as well as monitor and evaluate pupil progress,
adjusting teaching methods.
Preferably the SEND Teacher will
deliver exceptional education, providing a personalised curriculum that ensures
the highest levels of progress for pupils with special educational needs.
This SEND Teacher will also build great relationships with
both students and colleagues and will work in close cooperation with other
staff members and contribute to school action plans to maintain good
communication with parents, attending parents' evenings and annual review
meetings.
