This SEN college located in Cranborne, Dorset is looking for a passionate teaching assistant to join their compassionate team. As a teaching assistant you will be expected to work in small groups and one to one for young adults aged 16-25. You will be working with young adults with Autism and additional social, emotional and mental health needs.

As a teaching assistant you will be believed to support the welfare of pupils and respect the colleges safeguarding policies to ensure security and comfortability around the school. The teaching assistant will be a multi-talented specialist who has a very committed attitude to helping young adults grow and develop to help prepare for adult life.

This teaching assistant will also support the Class Teacher in all areas of the day to day running of the class and encourage pupils’ cognitive, social, emotional, behavioural, physical development and spiritual well-being. The teaching assistant will also create a warm and supportive relationship with pupils to make them feel safe and enable them to enjoy and learn during their time at the college.
