This SEN school is looking for a passionate teaching assistant for small groups and one to one teaching for pupils aged 6-11. The teaching assistant will also be assisting the class teacher with all responsibilities and activities in class.

The ideal teaching assistant will support the welfare of pupils and follow the schools safeguarding policies to ensure safety and comfortability around the school.  The teaching assistant will be a multi-talented professional who has a very committed approach to education helping students grow and develop to help prepare for adult life.

The ideal teaching assistant will know the class teacher’s curriculum and lead in absence of any class teacher across the school. The teaching assistant will also provide negative and positive feedback to the class teacher on student’s behaviour, relationships and attitudes.
