This brilliant school in the London Borough of Lewisham has an opportunity for a Head Business and Economics or equally an experienced Business and Economics Teacher to join a continuously improving school. The school has a proven track record of success in the classroom and is seeking an Outstanding Head of Business and Economics to lead the talented department. The successful Head of Business and Economics should be dedicated to a team approach and have a passion for teaching, the position is for a September start and the role is full time and permanent.

With teachers that are specialists in their subjects, the school has a high expectation from students.
Lessons are very well planned in order to help students make a connection and build an understanding with all the different parts of their learning. Therefore, you will be expected to plan and deliver lessons of high quality to get the most out of each student and help them achieve their very best. As the Head of Business and Economics you will also be responsible for developing schemes of work and have good knowledge of the school’s curriculum. You will be responsible for supporting the other teachers in the department and building rapport with teachers and students will be a key aspect of the role.
