A school in Surrey is looking for an experienced English Teacher to inspire students to succeed through GCSE’s and A Levels. This English Teacher will be expected to prepare and deliver lessons of a high standard to their students with good subject and curriculum knowledge. This English Teacher will ensure school policies are followed and to maintain discipline towards attendance, homework, punctuality, uniform, and behaviour.

The responsibilities of this English Teacher will also include continuous professional self-development and to communicate with the parents/guardians of students concerned with the welfare of individual students, after consultation with the appropriate staff. The successful English Teacher will need the ability to be patient and resilient and have previous experience as an English Teacher as well as being responsible for keeping records of student’s attendance and grades.
