This SEMH School located in Eltham are seeking an experienced
Learning Support Assistant to support students who have come from broken relationships
with the school system, difficulties experiences in their peer relationships or
a lack of empath for the professionals working around them.
The ideal Learning Support Assistant will be responsible
for helping the class teacher manage the class behaviour and building trusting relationships
with each student. The Learning Support Assistant chosen, will work 1:1 with
students who are having difficulty concentrating in class and supporting them
inside the classroom as well. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will also
attend staff meetings to find different ways to deliver lessons to meet the pupils
needs.
The perfect Learning Support Assistant will need to
promote the key values and ethos of the school, to encourage the children too
as well.
