This alternative provision, located in Brent, are seeking an experienced and dedicated Learning Mentor to support students from the ages of 11-16 years. The pupils here, have come from difficult circumstances, therefore the chosen Learning Mentor will need to understand this could lead to a breakdown in education, therefore provide emotional support for each student.

The Learning Mentor chosen for this role will be responsible for working closely 1:1 with students or in a small group, assisting them with their numeracy and literacy.  The ideal Learning Mentor will have to be able to build strong and trusting relationships with the students, so the pupils feel comfortable opening up about their struggles.  As a Learning Mentor you will assist the class teacher in keeping record of the student’s progress and highlighting the areas of improvement.
