This outstanding SEN school is looking for an English teacher to join their team in Surrey. This English teacher will be providing great quality education to students with difficulties communicating and social interaction, typically associated with Autism. The complete English teacher will contribute to the delivery and improvement of the curriculum and work in a non-confrontational way to ensure individual needs are met. As well as this the ideal English teacher will be attending and contributing to all relevant meetings and maintain good lines of communication with other staff.

This English teacher will also appoint targets for all pupils and will assess, evaluate, and report their development to parents and staff members. This will go hand in hand working with other members of staff as part of a multi-disciplinary team. The perfect English teacher will develop lesson plans and self-reflect on the outcomes ensuring lessons are maintaining pace, motivation, and challenges to keep all students engaged and eager to learn. This English teacher will also contribute to the review of EHC plans, PEP and LAC reviews using their knowledge of ASC/SEMH students with complex needs.
