The successful Primary Teacher will have had experience working with SEN
students as well as holding a QTS. Being a Primary Teacher here will require you
to teach very small class sizes allowing you to get to know everyone and cater
to their needs. The Primary Teacher position is contracted to start off temporary
for the year moving onto a permanent position. Having had history being a
Primary Teacher for SEN students will hold an advantage. Primary Teachers will be
expected to plan and teach lessons and work with small groups of students with
also marking work and talking to parents about their children's progress.
The school is smaller than others and specializes in SEN and
ASD students. Being a Primary Teacher round her you will be one of the friendly
faces they remember, and you will be welcomed to the team with open arms. The
students can be a challenge to some due to the patience and technique to cater
to their needs but holds an extremely rewarding feeling.
