The school is seeking a Learning Mentor on a full-time basis, and this will require working with students one-to-one or in small groups to best manage their behaviour and academic progress. As a Learning Mentor, you'll support, motivate and guide pupils, to help them overcome barriers such as challenging behaviour, emotional issues, lack of confidence, mental ill health, persistent absence, and truancy. The Learning Mentor at this school will need to have strong behaviour management skills as you will be around challenging students.

The school is offering a long-term temporary contract. You will be working closely with children that have learning difficulties. It’s a fantastic workplace and although challenging is very rewarding as a Learning Mentor.
