This wonderful school in Horley, Surrey is looking for an SEN Teacher to start
in January on a permanent contract to come in and hit the ground running. The
SEN Teacher will need to have the ability to plan and deliver high quality
lessons to make sure the students get the education that’s required. The
successful SEN Teacher will be working with students from the age of 6 to 16
with various learning difficulties with communication and social interaction,
typically associated with Autism.
The SEN Teacher will also need good experience working with challenging
behaviour as there will be SEMH in the school. The SEN Teacher will have a full
therapy team on site to provide support for the students and staff when needed.
The ideal SEN Teacher will need to an understanding of the safeguarding
principles and child protection procedures to ensure the students are as safe
as possible.
