We are looking for a Behaviour Mentor to mentor young
people within a Mainstream school’s internal exclusion unit. The position would
suit a Behaviour Mentor who has experience of mentoring young people, in order
to improve their educational and emotional outcomes. The school is based in Enfield,
North London is a full-time and permanent position.
The successful Behaviour Mentor will be a valuable part
of the pastoral team and will ensure the behavioural standards are kept high.
The main responsibility of the Behaviour Mentor will be to oversee the supervision
of behaviour in the school’s internal exclusion unit. The students have a range
of challenging behaviour and some social and emotional difficulties.
Students often display challenging behaviour and come
from difficult circumstances which can make progression in a mainstream school difficult.
