Your role as a PE Teaching Assistant will be working
closely with secondary aged pupils, aged 11-16 that have been removed from
mainstream education. As a PE Teaching Assistant, you’ll be responsible for
delivering PE lessons, both practical and theory based as well as mentoring
them into a steady future.
As a PE Teaching Assistant, it will be important you can
give extra time and patience towards your students, ensuring that the students
are engaged and learning while keeping them inspired and reassured. As a PE
Teaching Assistant, you’ll be working closely with SEN/SEMH students, so understanding
the way these students behave is essential.
