A great opportunity to join a SEN school for ASD students as a SEN Science Teacher has arisen. The SEN Science Teacher’s role is essential to the implementation of the school’s vision, and it is to carry out the responsibilities as a subject teacher; Teachers are expected to promote the highest possible personal and professional standards as an example to colleagues and students and to promote good relationships and communication throughout the school and wider community. The Successful SEN Science Teacher will be expected to plan and deliver high quality lessons, ensuring the highest standards of learning for the students. You can achieve this by having high expectations for students so that they are able to achieve their academic potential.

The Ideal SEN Science Teacher should have previous experience in delivering lessons to SEN students so that they can have a smooth transition into the role. The students at the school have ASD and are in small class sizes which are supported by Teaching Assistants across the school.
You will have the support needed in and out of the classroom to excel in the role.
